This book right here is a contender for my favorite read of 2020. I have never been disappointed in the books I have read by Adrienne Young. This one is no exception!

I really loved this book. I can’t wait to start the sequel. I enjoyed the story and all the characters. Loved all their unique names!

I know I already said this before, but for a while I really been wanting to re-read the entire Fable series, and now that we're nearing autumn that urge is increasing.

I really hope I'll be in the right mood to read this whole series again very soon.

Probably the best pirate book that I read in 2020, and I read at least 5 pirate-esque books that year, but I felt like the other ones were trying too hard and pretending to be much more likeable than they were.

Comparing this with the other ya pirate books was much more simple, that's why I could connect with the story and the characters.

I loved the parts between Fable and her father. There was one particular scene between them that made me emotional. Their dynamics between them felt so real.

Looking forward to the 2nd and last book of this duology.

It was fine. I just didn’t love the characters.

This was excellent. Fable’s story and interaction with other characters was so fun to follow and the ending made me very excited to read the conclusion to the duology. Young’s writing never fails to draw me in, and I especially loved that this story took place mostly on the ocean or a ship.

This was SUCH a good lil YA adventure book. I loved the world building and the characters a lot. They all seemed realistic. The romance also wasn’t cliche at all. Really enjoyed this despite the slow start.
