Heartstopper Yearbook

Alice Oseman

4.33 AVERAGE

I don't want to rate this, as my rating system applies to fiction, but it was really nice seeing the backstory to how Heartstopper came to be what it is today.

My favourite part was that each character was assigned a song, and I'm looking forward to sticking all the character songs in a playlist and listening to them.

I mean... It's Heartstopper. It's super cute as an extra inside to the characters and I absolutely loved it

if a hug was a book
funny informative lighthearted reflective medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: No

Gotta love the Osemanverse. Queer joy ✨. This is just like fluffy nothingness to remind you that the characters are real people that Alice created in her head ✌

Favorite parts were the mini-comics and the additional artwork for holidays, seasons, and (my absolute fave): AUs! I neeeeed a longer Regency-era comic of Nick and Charlie after only two panels!

This isn't even a book so I shouldnt actually rate it.

But everything Alice Oseman creates deserves 5 stars so...

It’s a giant hug

Cute quick read with lots of little Heartstopper insights and background.
