As the second book by Lily Gold after “Faking with Benefits” I came to the conclusion that I absolutely love her books!
Generally I love her style of writing the mmmf relationships.
I love how they’re always asking for consent for anything and reassuring each other.
There is the drama and the angst in her books that I often miss in other romances.
I don’t have a lot more to say than that… I liked the settings, the characters, their backstories and how everything dissolved. It was dealt with more emotional and deep themes and they were taken seriously which I appreciate.
Be sure to check to trigger warnings but be aware that they contain I’d say major spoilers for the plot of this book.
I‘ll happily read every other book Lily Gold has to offer at this point (while ignoring the covers) after enjoying this one so much!
