Taylor Jenkins Reid. My Queen.

This book plays with the idea of true loves, and what it is like to love someone truly.
It stuck with me that if you're willing to give a lot of yourself to other people, then you can have more than one true love. (No shit, it's the main point of the book)

Even though Jesse and Sam are almost polar opposites they both coincide in the way they make Emma feel. How their relationship with her is unique and perfect for a certain stage of her life.

The part of the book where they are in Jesse's family cabin in Maine is so beautifully tragic because you realize how much they have grown apart yet they can't seem to let go of eachother. That heartbreak that comes with it it almost feels like grief.
And when Jesse calls Emma to tell her he's met someone, and that now he understands what she was going through is just, wow, so mature but like, it made my heart ache but in a good way.

taylor jenkins reid striked again. what a touching, beautifully written story about true love and what it means. the characters were extremely well-crafted and i loved how the story evolved. i was crying both from sadness and happiness more than once and am so utterly happy how everything resolved in the end. for me, the ending was as perfect as an ending of a story can be. i also don't really have anything to complain about other than the fact that it took me a while to read the whole book, that is, i wasn't 100% captured and thats why i deduct 0.5 stars. nevertheless, the book was amazing and i'll for sure start a re-read sometime in the future!

This is a story about how easily a person's life and interests can change and how sometimes that means people grow apart. This book made me feel so much, at times I hated it. I was constantly battling myself because I wanted to DNF it because I was feeling SO much. At times I felt so distressed or so happy and it was truly draining. I decided to finish it because I knew I'd regret not finding out how this story ended. And of course, This is my first TJR book and honestly I get the hype now.
