Exquisitely written with fascinating characters. The idyllic garden scene at the beginning immediately drew me in. Wilde apparently used the three main characters to expose his different personalities/appearances and this adds another layer of intrigue. Hallwards obvious romantic obsession with Dorian is painfully written and plays out in tragic fashion. Lord Henry's articulate musings provide food for thought and paint him as conducting some sort of psychological evaluation of those around him for his own intrest. The corruption of Dorian is very well written and leaves you hoping for him to have some moment of redemption that isn't entirely self serving unfortunately that is not the case.

This was so interesting. Dorian at times almost reminded me of Raskolnikov from Crime and Punishment. On the whole I enjoyed this one though there were some chapters that were thoroughly boring.
