Dragging this story so thin we get barely nothing.
I get it, Tobin wrote himself in the corner with first volume considering the rules of Hungry World and insanity. Now we get Declan without fingers and Nimble Jack, newly hatched out of one seed Swivel managed to raise before his death. But Nimble Jack is hungry, always hungry and he's got a particular meal in mind... that's about it- Nimble Jack is back and he wants to consume Declan once again, but since we've already had that story...it can't end the same way, I guess?! :\
Look, I am honest- I don't care for the story- I am here for whatever lunacy Tobin imagines for Ferreyra to draw. His art was top notch from the start and colder is worth checking out only for art.

The amount of expectation I had for this last book is over the top. And now it fell rock bottom.

The consistency of the good story telling and amazingly crafted artistry of this book is still on point. But I'm appalled by how the story actually went.

It is a great idea how they ended this book. But I felt like it was forced and the conclusion wasn't really what I expected.

It feels like there is another chapter in the story that has yet been told.

What I am disappointed about is how there is actually no character development. I didn't see any improvement with Declan or Reese. Heck, I didn't even see any improvement with Nimble Jack whom should have a better uptake in the situation since he was just reincarnated.

What I absolutely adored is how this book still made you delve deeper into insanity as you went ahead with the story. That's the most consistent part of it. Every panel contributes to your ever growing mind of craze.

Overall, this last book wasn't really for me.

Did not realize until I finished the book that this is the last volume. The cover of the last issue sort of gives away the ending but it still surprised me in a way. It was, to a degree, just a rehash of the first volume, and I still found myself wanting to know more about the world and how it worked/how it came to be. I don't think Reece's character arc really makes sense either; the ending was neat but her evolution from how she was in the first couple volumes to the end is mainly represented through the violence of a couple panels and it didn't feel like enough of a shift for her to do a total 180 in personality, given that she's a nurse and all. I more or less agree with the other reviews already made, that there is a lot more "so horrifying you can't look away" art to keep you reading than there is story or character depth.

Just as twisted as the first two volumes. I love seeing Nimble Jack back - he's such an interesting character that is beyond twisted. The end of the last issue in this volume definitely put me on edge. I need to know what happens! There has to be more!!!!

I just don't know what to do with this title. The art is amazing, it is an absolute visual masterpiece. The dark twisted horrific artwork is hypnotic and stunning, too bad there isn't an awesome plot or interesting characters to go along with it.

The story here is so blah, it goes no where. Basically it seems like the author has a bunch of individual ideas that are great but he isn't able to string them together to tell a cohesive story. These individual elements are really cool: giant hands with dog heads, evil talking pigeons, cool monster with thousands of teeth and hundreds of eyeballs inside its mouth.

All of these things are super cool! However if you take a step back what it the actual story? The Joker Nimble Jack is running around having people commit suicide (gee I think I've seen this before) and Declan is trying to get prosthetic fingers...? He decides he has to take out Jack (again) and he gives us pointless flashbacks about banging his girlfriend to prove their love...?

Overall, the artwork is amazing and the creepy imagery is unlike anything you've ever seen, but the story telling just isn't there. The characters are one note and the "plot" is very circular. Just because your story is crazy and you have people spouting nonsense it doesn't mean that you don't have to have an actual point and tell a cohesive story.

If you love horror, pick up this series, it is a fast read, but don't expect too much.

Ok,me gustó que volviera ese personaje de nuevo, pero el final me subo a poco,no me gustó como se solucionó...me hubiera gustado que la serie contara con más números como para terminar de una forma diferente la historia.
