The protagonist really annoyed me most of the book but then by the end grew and DIDNT up in a clichéd ending ..3.5

I rather enjoyed this one. Finished it in a couple of days. Via audiobook.

Early on, I realized that Gretchen was wandering aimlessly through life. She wasn't really passionate about music. It just happened to be something she was good at. She ignored red flags in pursuit of relationships. Sabotaged friendships by keeping secrets and not opening up to them. All because she was running from her truth.

I think it ended on a good note. Life isn't perfect. But it's how you handle it that counts.
