What a surprisingly beautiful (yet incredibly bittersweet) end to a brutal story. The characters’ end hits you with a punch, and the feeling of nothing matters in the end juxtaposing with the theme of living for the one you love is what makes this series so amazing. 
Overall, I would give Fire Punch as a series 4.75 out of 5 stars. Tatsuki Fujimoto painfully plays with his readers.
