This was a fun read but I feel like it could’ve been so much more! The buildup was exciting, but then was kind of anticlimactic. Considering this was written in a way that can be read as a standalone, I’m not sure I’ll continue with the series. Glad to have read a classic SF though.

This book... I don't get the hype. Yes, it's imaginative, and the detailed descriptions make everything really easy to visualize. But guys, it discriminates against so many people on a regular basis! Sexism, stereotyping, derogatory terms that are just brushed off as jokes. Are you kidding me? And on top of all of that, the characters are not easy to relate to. I really wanted to love Ender's Game, and I actually enjoyed the movie, but the book was a disappointment. Sorry. Needless to say, I won't be continuing with the series.
Incredible sci fi universe and thrilling storyline. However, not suitable for children, full of swearing and crude jokes.
This was my first true Sci-fi novel. I started it 6 years ago and was liking it. I put it down and couldn't pick it back up. While in self-quarantine I started it over. It was ok. I'm glad I experienced it but will not be reading the next book on the series.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I am a personal lover of sci-fi but this book was above and beyond. I read it a few years back (when I was like 10) and i didn't really remember so I thought I would try rereading it because of the movie coming out and it exceeded all expectations. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Had some interesting ideas, but some of the ideas on leadership are naive and overly simplistic. It was disappointing, overall.
