Holy trigger warnings. This is not your typical book about covens and witches. This gets dark. Telling the tale of 4 witches who have since grown up and led lives of their own. Fighting for what’s right? Or what they think is right? And the consequences that come of it. It’s the first book in a series? Duology? Not sure. But it’s unsettling. I need a fairytale after this one. Or a shot of tequila. Definitely had my heart racing in some spots. Others were heartwarming. A lot of it was unsettling and definitely triggering.
