I really liked this graphic novel, the illustrations were very good and the story was just as I remembered from the novel.

See my review on the novel if you want to know how I felt about the story.
I couldn't resist this one when I spotted it. My ecopy was a bit blurry, I blame my tablet as it does that to many other GN/comics. Luckily the book is still very fresh on my mind so I could easily replicate the missing text or unreadable text.
This was a good adaptation of the novel. Sure some things are condensed or left out, at times it felt like the order of the story was a bit wobbly and there were things that were arranged different (how Moira and Offred met again). The art was pretty great, and now I could also finally see how old the Commander and Serena were. In my minds they were a great deal younger (though still too old to get kids together).

A MUST HAVE FOR ANY HANDMAID'S TALE FAN!!!

I've already read the book but this graphic novel is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen with my eyes, they managed to summarize this complex story into these beautiful illustrations that reminded me of all the things I felt while reading about this frightening world.

love the adaptation! some of the spreads are so incredible and invoke many strong emotions. best enjoyed after reading the original handmaid’s tale, seeing as some of the smaller details and information are lost from the transition from novel to graphic novel (as one would expect).
