This book had a TON of potential and while I mostly enjoyed it, it fell flat as a romance for me.

There weren't "feelings" until too late. I would've liked more romance, more emotion, more heart, more FEELINGS earlier in the book. Especially after the violence punishment of Persephone... it needed a bigger bounce back to make me believe they were in love.

Giving it a 4/5. Not as spicy as I thought it was gonna be. But it definitely was a great book overall. The ending had me a little shook with how many pages were left and whatever had occurred.
Def worth a read if you love hades and Persephone and especially if you want to experience them as lesbians.

First off, trigger warnings:There is rape in the book and parental abuse. Please know that before reading it. That being said, omg it's so good. Hades is so irresistibly written. I loved that their relationship blossomed from a hate, and how Persephone and her feelings gradually developed. Very sexy and delightful
