I actually liked this book quite a bit. Ellie Marney's books have usually been a hit for me, so this was not a disappointment. The end plot twist was pretty good, but I kind of guessed it 30 pages before... Still pretty good.
Really solid historical mystery. Sapphic rep and very readable. I really enjoyed the relationships between the main characters, and while the mystery itself wasn’t the twistiest, it was still incredibly entertaining and gave me Bletchley Circle vibes. 4.5 stars.

this book was slightly different from what i normally read. However, i still was able to enjoy reading it. this book was very well written but i still managed to predict the ending early on. if you like a murder mystery with a slight love story this book is perfect!

It was so good! I loved the mystery, and solving it along side the characters. There’s lots of twists, and it’ll keep you on your feet. Definitely worth the read.
