I am so in love with Bianca and Mikhail. Bianca is the daughter of a capo and interesting development, she is mute. However don’t even think for a moment that being mute stops her from being badass because it doesn’t. Mikhail has touch contact issues and a scarred body and face, which makes him to be very popular being stared at and whatnot. I honestly loved this short book, they are so cute and I loved it. If the book could be longer, I would be even happier.

I want to know what happened to her older sister though. Her older sister has an issue with her and was the one who had basically led Bianca into the trap. I know her Dad ends up dying (very well deserved) but we don’t hear what happens to her and we see nothing of her brother, who has an issue with her husband. A bit of loose ends

but nevertheless an amazing book.

This was such a surprise! I really enjoyed this a lot. It was feeling like a 5⭐️ and then I had time to think and there were a few things that I wished would have gotten resolved at the end of the book. But this romance was adorable. I loved Mikhail and his daughter; they were so cute!

think beauty and the beast but make it a mafia romance.

this book was EVERYTHING to me and I don't think I will ever shut up about it. It was sweet and made me want to cry for what both main characters have gone through but also made me believe in love and want a mafia man to come knock on my door.

mikhail's role in the mob is one that requires him to be able to hurt people. scars on his body from previous incidents have left him insecure and feel unworthy of love. he finds comfort watching a ballerina at every performance and what do you know? she ends up becoming the girl he's arranged to marry to secure a truce.

their love story is so beautiful and seeing how open they become within one another about how they deserve to be loved and it's okay to be insecure because it doesn't make you any less of a person, is just wow.

mikhail can't let go the idea that bianca deserves someone so much better and someone who people don't get scared because of the scars and injuries he hides and bianca constantly proving he deserves to be loved.. deserves an award.

his relationship with his daughter? yeah.. my heart melted so much.

loved loved loved this book so much and can't wait to finish the rest of the series.
