Another great book in this series!

This one had me on the edge of my seat constantly. She was so determined and no matter the cost she did what she felt necessary to read her goal.

I really do love her and Telarion. Watching their relationship develop over the last few books and seeing how much they changed and completed eachother is done so well. I tend to forget they're from completely different places.

This book was full of twists and turns And so much angst. I can't wait for the next book!

Why you doing this to me?

Gah! This book has been heart wrenching! August seriously goes through some feelings this go around that I can totally understand. But she still got back up. She's still fighting. Every time I think she is going to snuff out the tiny flame of hope, she rekindles it. She's not giving up without a fight. She will not let Telarion go. And Telarion? He fights so hard. Others can't see it. He cannot even truly see it, but his love for August is real. To say that the ending was shocking, would be an understatement. I certainly was not expecting it. I really don't know how they are going to pull through that one. Will this end with a HEA? Or will it end in utter heartbreak? I have so many questions and waiting to find the answers is pure torture, but I am here for this until the end.

Righteous Monsters is a punch to the gut emotional rollercoaster. August and Telarion they are so broken in it but they have hope and love. The ending was a shock for sure but I know there's one more book so it still has time for the tide to turn. I can't wait to see how these characters overcome everything they have been going through

Each of these books should be longer. The bones are there and the story moves along, but it needs more to make it more impacting. It feels like it moves from scene to scene without too much gravitas. I think that’s because build up and foundation is lacking. The characters have a lot of potential but they aren’t too fleshed out. Still the story is good and engaging. There are reveals that keep it interesting. The sex scenes are brief in this one. I love the relationship between August and Telarion.
