I hated Mia in this story, I felt like she was the bad in the movie. She made Adam suffer and that lead him into making bad decisions. I also felt like Mia didn´t had good reasons.
Something that surprise was the ending.I was expecting this tragic ending were Mia and Adam didn´t end up together. The author left all these clues that things weren´t going to fix but he was nice enough to not let that happen.
I felt like reading Mia´s point of view again, they seem so much alike, they really are perfect for each other.
Sometime I learn from this story was that you always have to pursue your dreams no matter what, just like Kim did, even when she risks her life.

I had been wanting to get into this book for the longest as I read the first one so many years ago but never could get the motivation to read this one. I overall enjoyed it although some parts did make me cringe but I liked the flow of current events and then memories each chapter. I enjoyed the characters reconnecting and im just happy to get closure for these character's stories.

I stayed up until 2AM to finish this book. It is a very fast read especially since I just finished If I Stay a day before. Where She Went is told from Adam's perspective instead of Mia's. The narrative takes place in the present, but just like the first book--the reader sees episodes from the past that help fill certain voids. I enjoyed it very much.
Normalmente, el segundo libro nunca está a la altura del primero pero este fue la excepción. La manera en la que están reflejados los sentimientos tras una ruptura son simplemente increíbles, provoca que sientas empatía total con Adam.
I am a grown woman (who happens to enjoy reading YA books). I have a mortgage and a job in insurance.
I am not into emo boys.
I did not like this book as much as [b:If I Stay|4374400|If I Stay (If I Stay, #1)|Gayle Forman|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1347462970s/4374400.jpg|4422413].
Hey. Hey!
I haven't finished what I was going to say yet!
A pessimist may try to peg this as a book about a mopey emo boy shuffling around the city bemoaning about his old high school girlfriend.
BUT...
(Yes there is a but)
it isn't.
Gayle Forman does a wonderful job making us root forMr. Emo Pants Adam instead of telling him to get the heck over Mia. And when Mia enters the scene, we truly love her just as much as we did the first time because she is sweet yet independent. Not that this isn't a book about a boy wandering around the city being mopey, but it's just done so well that it isn't completely pathetic. I liked the male POV that didn't read like dude-lit (although I would wager that dude-lit is a bit more accurate in portraying the "typical" male mind). I loved the idea of this kind of love. I really did wonder what the conclusion would be. Would they stay apart? Would they get back together? I DIDN'T KNOW!!!!
Then you're probably wondering (or most likely probably not):

Here is the thing - it didn't get me quite the way "If I Stay" got me. Maybe a small tear or two but no ugly sobbing. Maybe a "that sucks, dude" feeling but no "I don't know if I can go on with my life" feeling. Maybe a sniffle but no snot cascading down to my upper lip. You get the picture.
Still a great book. Still very well written.

I think that this book was amazing and had so many twists. Also this novel was an amazing sequel to If I Stay ! If you enjoyed the adventure of Mia and Adam before it gets better with more drama and adorableness. This book was the perfect love and hate situation. I would recommend this novel to any one who loves adventure and romance.
Sigue siendo una de mis lecturas favoritas, ya que transmite tantos sentimientos en tan pocas páginas ...
Un final perfecto ...
Amo a Adam y a Mia.
