I expected maybe more of a storytelling of each movie but it was more like the background, the idea, external reviews on the movies.
Still enjoyed reading it and looking at the BEAUTIFUL STUDIO GHIBLI SCENES
NICE READ! nice coffee book table! :D

I love studio Ghibli. And this is such a fun, cool book with gorgeous graphics and fascinating insights into our favorite Ghibli classics. It's actually got all the movies, but I don't want to spoil the few I haven't seen yet. It's got summaries, reviews, and some behind the scenes aspects for each movie, and it's awesome just to look at all the pretty pictures and then go watch all your favorites again. I don't agree with the reviewer who says that Howl's Moving Castle is trivial and a combination of previous Ghibli ideas because I'm obsessed, but it's always to read opinions that don't fully agree with yours. Great book, better movies.
