When it comes to ambiguous open endings, I usually don't mind because I can imagine what I want to follow as an epilogue.  That requires having a good foundation though and this book lacked that in spades.  When the title is the book, you question everything.

This is a fast moving, disturbing book. It definitely held my interest but I was disappointed that in the end multiple areas were not tied up or explained such as the smell in Erin’s room (if there was one) and why she was having baby food (was that part of the Autism diagnosis). Some of the aspects seemed a bit unbelievable too-such as Walter marrying Josie-why would a married 46 year old man who has had kids do that? It seems a bit far fetched. Some of the extreme behaviors seemed to go a bit too far as well. Overall it was entertaining and thought provoking.

Omfg I have not experienced that level of psychological thriller in such a long time. Although o thought I knew how it would end, every twist made me think I had no idea. I stopped in my tracks multiple times to say “oh my god wtf”. Full of ambiguous truths, complicated (or are they?) and motivations.
