Made up almost entirely of "S" words, this alliterative tale of a determined slug ends in tragedy (or lunch, depending on your perspective).

My little sister really loves this book. It’s a great tool to teach young children about the use of alliteration, and overall it’s quick and fun to read.

Clever alliteration. Surprising ending.

Disappointing narrative with alliteration that felt forced at times. Could be used in primary grades for work around the letter S and for making predictions.

I had so much fun reading this aloud to my class. Especially seeing as they started to catch on... such a fun, clever book.
