Overall a solid introduction to the history of the Nederlands, but it lacks depth on certain subjects. It also isn't very objective all the time, this is especially apparent when it concerns the Nassaus.

Dit boek is ZEKER beknopt. Het grootste minpunt is dat er geen index is, wel een personenregister, maar je kan niet zomaar op onderwerp zoeken, wat ik zelf wel nodig heb voor mijn onderzoeken. Het is wel een handig boek om te gebruiken, maar niet iets wat ik persoonlijk aanraad.
