I liked this series as a child. They were fairly easy to read and really relatable. Besides being set in a different time, they all follow the lives of young Canadian girls so they were really nice to read when I could easily put myself in their shoes.
Looking back on it now, I really love that they came up with this series, very well done! Great for young girls and instilling pride in themselves and at the same time teaching of the history of Canada.
