This is a great book, with such insight and so many amazing lines and passages. I think this was one instance where the author narrating really didn't add anything though. I expected to hear so much emotion, but it felt like she was trying really hard not to let any out.

This book was sad but I liked it anyway. This is my second book my McCracken, and the lady can write.

I have no way of knowing if this book was actually "good" or not. The topic is too close to me.
All I know is that it meant so much to me to read it.

Very well written. Can a book like this be described as enjoyable? It was sad, and it made me cry, and it was sad, and it was happy. And it was happy, but sad, too.

I read this gorgeous book in one sitting, and I can't imagine reading it any other way.

A truly beautiful description of a devastating grief. Delicate, intricate detailing of how loss is alters senses and changes you forever. The author says she wishes to write and distribute a narrative of the loss for people to read before interacting. I, too, wished for that.
