Fallen University: Year Three by Callie Rose is a reverse harem paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lia Holland.

I absolutely love Callie’s books! They always leave me begging for more. I loved the chemistry between Piper, Kingston, Jayce, Xero, and Kai. Callie did a great job wrapping up the trilogy.

Lia did a great job on the narration. I loved that she used different voices/tones for each character. It really brought the story to life.

I would recommend this book if you like reverse harems or paranormal romances.

Series review: 2.5

I liked the premise for this series, and I felt like the succubus thing was an excellent way to explain the RH aspect.

I just feel like the series, and this third book especially was trying to do too much and felt rushed. I think that, especially with the slower pacing of the first two novels where we are seeing the guys come to terms with the bond, this felt like a whole lot of action, that well, wasn’t that interesting. I found myself skipping pages during the fight scenes and just waiting for the story to get to the end.

I also feel like a lot of stuff was glossed over or unresolved so we could get to the battle. Sonja’s storyline had such a wimpy resolution, especially since no one seemed to care Gavariel had found a way to communicate with students directly. Also, even a line or two explaining why the custodians placed such a high value on the exams (and not just “they’re paper-pushing nerds. LOL.”) would have improved the book so much. It’s not uncommon to see the good side hampered by the rules when the bad guys just ignore them. It would have been great to have it be some rule to keep the universe's balance or something that gave weight to it.

This is the third series I read by Callie Rose. Her books are on the adult side of the adult genre. I liked it, but I thought and continue to think that the sex in her books can sometimes be too frequent and almost cause you to lose sight of the story.

There were parts about this series and book that I loved and parts that I didn't. I've realized that it's very difficult for me to like an academy-based novel. Not sure why. But it's not my favorite trope. Can't blame the author there. I found the characters to be intriguing and certain parts of the world-building to be intriguing. I particularly liked Xero's story.

Intriguing. Could be better written, but enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this series! I listened to it and laughed! It was a cute why-choose, PNR, romance! I saw a lot of parallels between the series and the current state of politics in America and profiling based on how someone was bord/turned/environment

Callie never fails at blowing me away with her skills. I live every word she writes. I particularly really loved this book, I feel like it’s even better than the last because of the amount of detail she put into it. There wasn’t a time where I drifted away from the story, or lost interest. In fact I was invested the entire time. I also loved the detail during sex scenes, or really any of the scenes. You can tell she took time to piece everything together and the writing is just amazing!

The character development was really my favorite, to see all of Pipers boys turn into mature able bodied men who loved not only her, but cultivated a genuine bong together as well was amazing to read. And Piper really grew into herself and it was so wonderful to see her self confidence skyrocket as she came to be who she was meant to. I adore Hannah, and I’m so happy she still plays such a big part in the story. Where would any of them be without the other? Nowhere.

The steam level was 20/10 and I am obsessed!! Found myself fanning m face on multiple occasions, in riding the group scene near the end
