Interesting and so modern in feel, but didn’t feel like the best edition to start with
not how it took me a year to finish this. but i literally stopped reading it for months so its okay i guess. I'm not really a fan of poetry plus this is translated so its not the same :/

Not what I hoped it would be. Also I can’t be convinced that Rumi and Shams were not lovers.
Absolutely stunning. Faith and love and love of faith has never been written so beautifully. I've read very few poetry books in the past but I must say that this is my favourite! I am so glad I stumbled upon Rumi in one of my adventures on the internet and I am so glad I stumbled upon this book at the Book Fair. What an inspiring read, indeed!

Absolutely heart-piercingly beautiful. One of the most poetic depictions of the Divine I've ever read, and way better than any other poetry about God I've read.
