I really liked this and thought it was a lot fun, but if you do not like Deadpool then I would skip it. It is definitely made for younger boys to enjoy as there is not much depth to it and has lots of gore and crude jokes but it is a super fun read for Deadpool fans. I will be continuing on very soon.

I was between a 2 and a 3 star rating on this one. I pushed it higher, because Hallowe'en isn't my thing, and I know that being an issue pulled this one down for me in a way that isn't going to be representative of a typical, non-Hallowe'en-hating reader. I also found that Deadpool's humor just didn't work for me in this situation. When, for so much of the issue, the biggest targets for his humor are , it just felt wrong to me, in a way that I haven't felt about his humor in previous issues.

Opět vtipný Deadpool, který se musí vypořádat s ženskou, kterou má uvězněnou v hlavě. Komiks obsahuje nádherné ilustrace :)

This run gives Deadpool vulnerability. The story gives him many different sides, and makes him relatable. He is also endearing, but also still hilarious. Very hilarious. For Deadpool's sake read this comic.

This was...fine. Obviously it's stupid but that's on purpose. Mostly it was good stupid, but it went on for too long and the concept got old very quickly. Maybe it would have been better as 3-4 issues. Or maybe it's just not for me.

I love the idea of Deadpool as a character. I'm also a fan of Brian Posehn. I wasn't really into Deadpool in the first trade I read, but I also recognize that the character has shifted somewhat from a psychopath to a more self-aware sarcastic type. Dead Presidents is a Marvel NOW entrypoint that I figured I'd give a chance to given the author, and I'm generally glad I did.
The good: Deadpool is a lot of fun in this book, and he largely acts in this book as I perceive him. It's funny, witty, and Posehn's influence comes out all over the place here. The idea that Deadpool has to deal with the zombified corpses of dead presidents is great, too, as a history nerd.
The not-so-good: It gets VERY tiring. By issue six of this arc, I felt a version of "get on with it" that I hadn't with a comic in some time. I don't know if it was this book or Deadpool in particular that creates exhaustion, but it's worth noting.
I'll certainly check out the volume two trade when it comes out. In the meantime, this has done a lot to help my understanding of the character.

This is a great read. I love the zombie presidents. I love wade. The art is good and the fan questions in between are nice breaks.
