Well talk about A long con.

After the events of the rebirth the readers have witnessed the presence of a mysterious new Clark kent , Except he’s not Superman and as per his descriptions he has been there all through out the New 52 . This obviously doesn’t bode very well for The Superman , the pre new 52 one , who knows for real that Clark Kent is nothing but an alter ego that he himself created . This issue follows the last issue in Superman trying to figure out who Clark Kent really is .

The result is surprising for him and hence creates a possibly epic concluding future where the revelations may have massive impact on the DC universe that said while the stage is set for the future the present issue seems very little impactful , that said there are certain things that happens in order to restore certain sense of continuity but like many issues in last fortnight the overall feeling from this issue is that of a filler comics .

The art is decent if not spectacular with certain panels consisting of the Fortress of Solitude looking very beautiful and the story despite by all means being sort of a stop gap to the next arc remains very much readable if nothing else .

The embodiment of the adage about having your cake and eating it too, but less witty and more saccharine. I don't hate myself enough to keep reading this book.

We get a few answers about the other Clark Kent. This was just a solidly written issue. The use of the newspaper text at the end was done really well.
