I have no idea why LMA hated the Nat character so much but daaaaamn. She even made Meg cock block Daisy because she thought Nat was too wimpy?!

This book contained cute little stories about all the boys from Little Men and who they grew up to be. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Definitely liked Little Women and Little Men more.

As Jo was my favorite character in Little Women and I loved her boys in Little Men, I was eagerly excited to see how these characters grew up. I was not disappointed by the paths that each character followed. It was a wonderful story and a perfect conclusion to the series.

Glad to see where all the characters went. but the writing wasn't great. Yet still it was worth reading.

I can’t help but compare this to the prior two books. This one was my least favorite. It lacked the charm that I think came from the youth in the March family. That being said, it was lovely to fast forward in time to see the younger characters as they became adults.

Unlike the other books earlier in this series that were more of a story, this book felt like nothing more than a collection of preachy sermons about good morals and how to be a successful, well-rounded person made personal through characters we’d become attached to. Jo even says to some of the boys she is about to preach! Boring and dull.

I downloaded the complete Louisa May Alcott onto my kindle, I love Little Women and Good Wives, but I simply can't finish Jo's Boys. It is so preachy, I get halfway through every time and get exasperated.
