This book gets four stars only because I read it while interning in DC. I liked knowing where things were taking place, especially in the Capitol.

somewhat exciting, but the story was written like a movie script and had a ho-hum ending.

I remember really enjoying The Da Vinci Code, and Angels and Demons, but although this novel was fast paced, I can't say it was my favourite. Perhaps my tastes have changed since then, and this wasn't just a dud.

This was a fun read! I actually listened to the audiobook while I went on the longer training runs for my 50k. Kept my brain very entertained. Can't wait to pick up the next Dan Brown book!

If I had read this as a young child it would have irreversibly changed my life honestly. Reading as an adult it more just took me forever bc the characters annoyed me by being pretty stereotypical and shallow, but I can still appreciate a story that makes people think about categories of science and religion in new ways, even if many of the explanations are rushed and lack nuance. Also whole thing gives off STRONG heartmath energy for anyone who knows what that is, so that is fun.
