I expected this to be good but I have to say it really grew on me by the end. Aiko starts off as a terrified high school girl forced to witness and participate in horrifying things while dealing with the loss of her loved ones. Over time and thanks to Hiromi she develops confidence in herself and finds a reason to keep fighting, to keep living.
