Very, very slowly paced. Love the concept of having the chapters being narrated from different perspectives, but it does not really serve a purpose. Imbolo Mbue's "How Beautiful We Were" did this incredibly. The characters were distinguishable and there was a purpose. Here, not so much.......... Its all the same voice and perspective.

It was kind of boring. There is a queer relationship but honestly it isn’t really developed. The cult mindset could have been so good but I felt it wasn’t explored enough

I love books that are written in free verse, but I found Wolfpack by Amelia Brunskill very hard to get into. The writing is lovely and words flow wonderfully together, but it was the characters that I had a difficult time keeping track of who is who and getting attached to them. A group of tight knit girls living inside of a cult, I was hoping to read as if I were part of that group and learn about the culture (ha). However, nothing much really happened and I got bored...
