This book is incredible!!!! A vivid, heartbreaking and compelling true story of an Italian boy and the way his life unfolded during WW2. Highly recommend.
An wonderful story about an incredible human. So glad you know he existed, and so thankful for the lessons his journey taught me.
I have always been very interested in all the events that took place in WWII but I have never seen it from the perspective of the Italians. It was an amazing book that opened my eyes to the cruelty of the time and how sometimes the good people don't have a fairytale end of life but evil people do (sort of).
