Interesting story but seems improbable. Could one person really have all of those things happen to them?

Also, the writing was weak and annoying. Felt like a YA read. A very long YA read.

Makes me wonder how many tales of heroism from WWII died without us ever knowing. The writing in this was not outstanding and the reader for the audio was somewhat slow, but the story made up for those shortcomings.
