i can always depend on pen to get me out of a slump

3.5 - I definitely enjoyed this book, but it wasn’t perfect by any means.

As far as standalone romance books go, it was nice and tidy, had intriguing plot twists, and wasn’t too predictable. I love the family motto (made me miss the devil’s night crew) and the fact that they always put Christian first. Also, i’m obsessed with the OCD representation — it’s not cute and overly organized it’s a desperate need for control and order.

Tyler really pissed me off in the middle of the book!!! it felt like I was yelling at him to make better choices. He was so damn stubborn (but he’s hot and rich so I guess it’s allowed

You can tell Miss Penelope wrote this 10 years ago lol she definitely improved by the time she wrote Devils Night series and we thank God for that LOL

I just wasnt invested in either character or their storyline and everything felt way too rushed.
