I wanted so much more from this!!
Misconduct is my 7th Penelope Douglas book and probably my least favorite, which is odd because it's also probably the least problematic of her books that I've read. Funny how that works out. I just didn't totally love this and wanted a little more. I enjoyed the plotline of Tyler trying to connect with Christian and I surprisingly didn't hate the political plotlines (which I am usually very meh on when it comes to romance books), however I thought the "stalker" plotline with Easton was very lame, especially the "reveal" that happened in literally the last 10 pages. It was so unbelievable and cringe-worthy.
The romance between Tyler and Easton was decent, not my favorite, but I also didn't exactly dislike it...I just wanted a little something more. Overall, this was a decent book if a little eye-roll inducing at times, but I'm not mad that I read it at all. It was entertaining for sure.

I preferred Five Brothers and Credence. I didn’t get pulled in as strongly with this one.
