Evanovich does it again. She's built a crazy plot and crazier characters that, no matter what make me keep reading. They are endeeraing in a way even though I know in real life I would be really anoyed to find most of them in my daily life.
Each time I read a Janet Evanovich's book I feel she can't find more crazy ways to twist a plot, but she does over and over and she keeps her readers glued to her stories.

I finally guessed the bad guy early on! And I understood what was happening! Yay!

The McDonald’s digging through the trash can was funny. Also, Lula thinking she was growing canine teeth because of her all-meat diet so she could look like a supermodel.

My children still look at me when I laugh out loud while reading this series.

I love that there was basically a girls trip to Vegas and Connie was finally able to get out of the office this time around!

I returned after more than 20 years to Stephanie Plum after enjoying this series long ago when I dropped out of reading. I adore this series. The books are funny and it’s like returning to an old friend. Nine books in and still fresh. Can’t wait to catch up with another one scheduled to release this year. I do have to say the audio book did have some problematic accents, but the narrator was true to Stephanie’s voice so ultimately I got past it.
