More of the same but this one felt fresher and funnier than some of her previous efforts. I think the trip to Vegas helped a lot in that respect as it provided a much-needed change of scenery. Although I was ultimately able to guess the identity of Stephanie's stalker, it didn't ruin my enjoyment of the book as the plot is really secondary anyway. Lula, especially, had me laughing out loud in this one with her madcap and bizarre attempt to go on an all-meat diet to start looking like a supermodel. A great beach read.
Good but a little predictable compared to the others. I knew the 'who dunnit' part well before it actually was disclosed. But, on the positive, they continue to be light, fun reads! Starting number 10...
I'm hoping this is the last time Stephanie moves into Joe's house. I hope she stays this time; Bob seems to need her. I'm still enjoying the books, but the on again off again romance is something that can be overdone.

Finally some real character development! Or at least acknowledgement from Stephanie that she has learned things (wearing sensible shoes) and that she feels lackluster in her performance. It was interesting to see her finally evaluate her life outside of who she is as a romantic partner (I know that the romance is a big part of the series, but still).
And it was nice to see Vinnie be a little less creepy and explore some different bond types.

Definitely fun! Not high art, but a trashy good time. Sometimes I'm embarrassed by how much I love this series. They are definitely a guilty pleasure. I picked it up with no expectations and like most of Evanovich's books found this to be the best approach. If all you are looking for is a fast paced, raunchy and fluffy read this is definitely a good series to pick up.
Another fun Stephanie Plum adventure! The Vegas trip was an especially fun addition.
