I read all these books way back when. I kept the ones I really liked (the original, The Alien Swordmaster, Prisoners and Pawns, East Coast Crisis and Death Tide)

Read this back when the original V was popular. Not nearly as good as the series and not nearly as good as some of the other books based on the series.
