i honestly didn’t realise a splatterpunk book could be so goddamn boring??

i saw so many people talk about the incredible “twist” at the end and honestly how did people not see any of that coming right from the start??

i was so excited going into this that i would find something incredible and now i’m just incredibly disappointed

Okay I-. So I wanted to read this just to know what everyone was talking about. I felt fine throughout the book despite the heavy material. However the END WTF. I- genuinely. I feel like I would like a cleansing from that please.

Um. I don't have a rating yet. I have 0 idea how to rate this. Was the writing good? Yes. Did I read it in one sitting? Yes. Would I read it again? I have 0 idea. Did I enjoy reading it? Define "enjoy"
This book was all kinds of fucked up. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, it did. My jaw was permanently on the floor. It's well written, very detailed, and I can guarantee I have never read anything else like it. If you are easily disgusted, do not read this book. If you love horror, okay read it. For a horror book it was good, I think?? My first extreme horror I've ever read. I'm still reeling.
