This wonderful book inspires you to consider how to live your best life, specifically for Autistic people, but I think people with any neurotype can appreciate the message of this book. It clearly explains many facets of Autism, while retaining its vast heterogeneity and acknowledging where research is sparse because of underdiagnosis and biases historically. I think he does a great job of exploring the experiences and perspectives of Black and Indigenous people of colour, trans people, people with co-occurring disabilities, impoverished people and women.
I loved in chapter 8 how Price takes a structural look at how to make the world a more neurodiverse-friendly place, advocating for universal healthcare, universal basic income and abolishing carceral systems.

As somebody who's suspecting to be autistic, this book was a great start into understanding my symptoms and the way I'm feeling much better!
It made me think ans reflect on behaviour and experiences and though I have not yet fully done the exercises listed in the book, I intend on doing so!

While this book is a little dense, it's highly informative.

One thing I really loved about this book is that Devon Price manages to talk about both personal experiences and political issues in an intrinsically interwoven way.
Big recommendation from me!
