I enjoyed The mystery of this one and the changing POVs throughout the book. Didn't knock my socks off, but I did enjoy it and found it different and interesting with the Tox and the different characters (just girlies being girlies)

Honestly, the plot was fantastic, but it could have been executed better. For the pros, I really enjoyed the overall message of the book and there were some really intriguing topics the author went into.
But, alas, we must go into the cons. For starters, the love interests were really conflicted; only because the main character, Hetty, seems to like Byatt, then out of no where, she suddenly likes Reese. I don’t know if you’re bothered by this, but I sure was. It seems like the author meant for the book to be something, then it turned into something completely different. I wasn’t connected to the characters, and I felt like they needed more background and strength. Lastly, I didn’t really like the ending, it was not very conclusive and overall, I’d give this book a 2/5. If you don’t seem to like the plot based off the back, or you’re debating on putting this on your ✨endless✨ TBR, then I suggest you don’t do it.
