📖 A.R.C. Review 📖
Slaying for Sloan by Dana LeeAnn & Melissa McSherry
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
MMC: Asher | MFC: Sloan
POV: Dual, 1st Person
Tropes: Slay for her • Morally grey MMC • Touch her and freeze • Creative use of Christmas decor • Primal play
‼️Always check your tr!ggers‼️

Well what a merry smutmas indeed! This was a perfect short read with holiday cheer splashed with s@distic primal need. I enjoyed the taunting and teasing, hoping for it not to end. Beware, there is a cliffhanger for the next book, but you’ll love it anyway!

“She thinks she’s walking into her fairytale. But soon enough, she’ll know exactly who’s waiting for her at the end of this story, and it’s not her prince charming.”

Sloan is on holiday with her boyfriend, Alex, and his family. The religious, self righteous tr@uma is sure shining bright and Sloan gets to experience this in full force. Asher, the black sheep of his family, finally gets to play his game with Sloan as his prize. Together, there’s a fun little game to play this Christmas in the snow and between the trees, but Sloan is none the wiser to who is running this game.

“Love is the deadliest game of all.

The rules are simple:
1: If he catches me once, he gets to eat me.
2: If he catches me twice, I have to suck him.
3: If he catches me a third time, he gets to fuck me.
4: If he catches me all three times AND beats me to the church, nothing is off limits.”

HOLY CRAP!! This book gave me everything I ever needed and more. The gingerbread house scene!? THE ENDING!? This was easily one of the best books to end the year with and I can’t wait until the next one!

I loved this so much! The hide-and-seek game was wild and so much fun to read, even with how crazy and unhinged it got. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens. This whole series is amazing, I didn’t want to put this one down!

Alex who? I’ll admit going in I wasn’t very excited about reading another Christmas themed spiced novella, but that changed once Asher and his game came into the picture. This read was fun and very

Holy. Hallmark. Plot twist.

I was so not expecting that.

If you want a good hallmark story with a dark and dangerous twist, then this is just for you.  I was all for the chase, the game! Dang.  I was so mad when it ended.  I absolutely loved the pivotal twist and talk about a whole new meaning to gingerbread houses! Looking forward to the next novella in the wrecked series!

Can be read as a standalone BUT🔽🔽

If you’re a dark romance lover looking for a spicy holiday novella, this book is for you. Obsessive MMC, slay for her, creative use of Christmas decor, sexy holiday games - it has it all.

I read an advance copy of this book for free and am leaving a review voluntarily.
