The end was a little too fansical/hollywood/cheesy but overall this was a fast-paced steady read, which I’ve come to expect from Coben. This is a go-to author for me, particularly when I’m traveling by plane or car for long stretches. The narrator for this did a tremendous job!

Just plain silly

Good book. I hope there is a second one.

Love this book. The characters were complex and each had several complete stories of their own. A page turning thriller. Loved the two main characters Wilde and Hester. Great book

Too many characters and subplots

This was my first Harlan Coben book. It certainly won't be my last!

Such a great book!! Can't wait to read The Match! Narration is amazing!

Audio book. This book was so boring. The plot sounded great but I don't see how Wilde being from the woods really had anything to do with anything else going on in this book. It started out pretty interesting so I had hopes for it. But it took me weeks to finish this and I had to finish it on 1.7 times speed. This is the second book of Coben's that I did not like and this one received a lower rating than the other one. I am surprised by this because a lot of my mutuals seem to love him. I will give him another shot but I will need to pick the book very carefully.

I was so excited to read this book, to be totally caught up in a good thriller as I've come to expect from Harlan Coben. Unfortunately, the book has little to do with the boy from the woods so I am feeling disappointed and somewhat cheated. In fact, after about halfway through, I really had no desire to find out what happened in the rest of the story. I may be in the minority but I can't recommend it. My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing a galley of this book for review.
