This book was one of my first introductions into romance as a genre, and let me say, I am now obsessed. Ali Hazelwood set my bar so high that I now compare every other romance book to her writing style.

As a woman in STEM who has experience working in a lab setting, I can appreciate the setting of this book and the humor. Sadly, I have not encountered any Adam Carlsens at my university.

I love a standard contemporary romance with all the tropes and this is that. Can I differentiate it from all the other STEM Ali Hazelwood books? No. Did I enjoy it and finish it easily? Yes.
