The romance reader in me really convinced the engineer in me that they would find a way to end up together that would be satisfactory so I can’t help but feel let down by the resolution. The romance aspect essentially disappeared when Carter did so the story could focus on the technical aspect of getting out of the time loop and I’m sad we missed out on so much of his point of view. Ultimately I felt most upset over Buddy Ed which makes sense given how lukewarm the romance felt even at its peak.

Once again, time travel, a bit of romance, and hints of the multiverse hooked me, and this didn't disappoint. The first half was a bit slow, but once Carter starts to lose his memory, the pacing picks up and things start to move.

The title of this book is slightly misleading as this book isn't as love story centric as it makes you believe. This book is a fun, quirky science-fiction book about two strangers falling in love while being stuck in a four day long time loop. It was a quick, easy read and had a fun blend of romance, food, and physics which I thoroughly enjoyed. If you want an easy read, enjoy time loop nonsense, and love food, this would be a great book to read!

I really enjoyed this book right up to the end. It wasn’t a satisfying conclusion for me.
