I loved to hear the tangible impacts that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has had on other Black and Latinx people fighting for change in America. Also, AOC can speak four languages?! I am also inspired! Better keep practicing my Spanish…

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a role model to countless people, not just in the United States but around the world. She is especially a role model to Latinx people, as this book so amazingly shows.
This is a collection of essays by those inspired by AOC. With that being said, there are some points that are repetitive.
AOC has not been in politics very long, but she inspires many people of all backgrounds and ages.
This is a great representation of her impact and I highly recommend it, not just to those interested in AOC, but to anyone young that is just getting interested in politics.

I received a free e-galley of the audiobook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Listening to this audiobook has been a breath of fresh air during this exhausting political climate. Hearing not only about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's life and career, but also hearing from so many individuals whose lives AOC touched and influenced, instilled in me a long-forgotten optimism about the state of things. Each essay had such a distinct take on things, though I think my favorite has to be Keegan Michael-Key's introduction because his awe and respect felt so palpable -- and obviously with him reading the introduction for the audiobook, it was a great way to start the audiobook by including a familiar. Lopez did a great job in her audio, though I might have preferred to have a mix of narrators considering there are so many different voices and writing styles throughout.
