I just finished rereading it and I STILL enjoyed it!
Finishing I realise there’s a second book and I can’t remember if I read the second book all those years ago.

This book is proof that good stuff really was on wattpad and I’m grateful to have lived in that time. A little selfishly, I’m especially grateful everything in the app was free then, because I was a young dumb broke high school kid.

DND at 30%, she just got too annoying sometimes. There was so substance to her reactions

Chasing Red, has a special place in my heart. From Red meeting Caleb, to Red finding out she loves him. I could not get enough of this book. In Chasing red, the book does not focus on the spice and details. It focuses more on character development and the problems both characters are going through. Lots of people are saying that Caleb deserved better than Red. But from my point of view, I can kind of relate to Red's wariness. She was hurt in her youth, emotionally and I think, maybe physically. I'm not sure yet. Reds hesitation and blow up towards Caleb and B-R ( i hate her) was her trying to protect her self. You have got to understand that Red did not grow up privileged like Caleb did. She had to fight for what she wanted. If I was in her shoes, I wouldn't want anything getting in the way. So when B-R confronted her in the bathroom. She didn't think about Caleb explaining himself. She learned to not push the situation any further and walk away. She didn't want to get hurt anymore. But as we realize throughout the end, She comes to think about everything Caleb has done for her... make her laugh, play and show her love. He showed what happiness is. She realized her mistake and tried to fix it. See my review on "Always Red" for more. Thank you

It wasn’t bad, just not great. It definitely picks up in the last third of the book, all of the rest of the book is basically just the same thing going on over and over again. Will be reading book 2 thanks to that cliffhanger though..

Caleb is such a heartwarming and fun character. I loved him! And Kara and Beth were pretty damned awesome too.

Honestly, I wanted to love this book I really did. Or at least like it. I’m an avid Wattpad supporter so if you came from Wattpad I want to show my love but honey, this book should have stayed on Wattpad... I really hate to say that but really the plot was awful. The “villain” characters barely even showed up the last hundred pages. I wanted so much more from this book but I didn’t get it. I used to see it on Wattpad all the time in my younger years so when I saw it in the store I was pumped. I’m sad to be so disappointed. Oh well.

This book was really annoying.

I kind of enjoyed reading the beginning of this book. I found it entertaining and fun. But it just went downhill in my opinion.

I really didn’t like Veronica “Red”.

I felt like Caleb was so possessive and was obsessed with her. I also felt like he was in love with her after a few chapters, like damn bro chill. I will say that I liked Caleb more than Veronica.

Also there was so much unnecessary drama in this book. And seriously the lack of communication and trust in this book is ridiculous.

And that ending was horrendous.

I had high hopes for this and was extremely disappointed. Don’t waste your time.
