5 stars. Of course it was. I love the set of characters Jo Myles has created in the Bristol series and though I was worried I may not be able to warm to Grant after his appearance in Stuff, I should have known better than to have such qualms.
I think there was a lot more sex in this one than either of the previous novels, though, but since a lot of focus at the start of the relationship was how to get an 'I only ever top' man to bottom then that isn't really a surprise.

Not my favorite. I never really connected with either character. They were fine, the story was fine. There's nothing really negative to say. I just didn't grow to particularly like either one of them that much. I did like Dare way more than Grant and I'm not really sure what he saw in Grant. Grant's not a terrible guy but he's so immature. He comes off like a late teen/early 20s and he's actually like late 30s. He really annoyed me at times, he jumped to so many ridiculous conclusions. The drama outside of the relationship was basically non-existent, in a bad way for once. And the resolution was a bit lazy and blah for me. I just....didn't love this.
Didn't find this love story as believable as the others in the series. The characters had little in common outside of sexual orientation and loyalty to family members.
Still, there's a happily ever after and it's always nice to see a "turned down money for happiness" story.
