The Slow Horses are back again for another adventure in mediocrity. All of these books seem to have similar plots. They are saved by (in the books and on the page) by Jackson Lamb. I hope that one of these books will feature the disgusting beauty of Lamb alone.

This is the last in the series (so far - hopefully there will be more), and I have enjoyed them immensely. I’m going to miss these characters! I gave the previous books 4 stars but realized with this last one that I really wanted to rate them 5 stars because of the quality, complexity, humor, and smarts wrapped up in these novels. Highly recommend.

Maybe the snarkiest yet? Simpler plot, a wider range of balanced characters, good writing, and while the SSD types are farcically goofy I give it the fourth star for the cogent Trump critiques.
