adventurous fast-paced

I appreciate that Kibuishi actually lets things fall apart & doesn't immediately patch them up

Slow paced plot packed with cliches.

The series continues to deliver artwork wise. The plot definitely seems to be going downhill though. Plot doesn't seem to move forward that much. Lot of cliches and mindless action with low stakes, that I personally didn't care about. I did like the fact that Navin took the centre stage this time, even though he pretty much did nothing.

#boutofbooks Book 2, Day 1

I want to know how this series ends, but Im starting to really lose interest.

And the adventure just keeps rolling and rolling. And maybe there is a point to this all. It kind of feels like pieces are coming together. And more old cast keeps appearing. It seems like the line between good and evil moved in this one and for the better. I wish we could spend some time actually learning our cast of characters or our places a bit better. But it is cool without that. And the art just continues to be impressively awesome.

Mostly just enjoying the art for this one. Some decent plot moments though.

I rated it three stars just because I messed up thought I was number 6 but I left off of it at 5 so at first it was very confussing wasn't until after I read it that I realized it was the wrong one which I'm thinking of rereading the series and re-rate
