The art continues to be gorgeous, and the world-building becomes increasingly fleshed out as the series continues. This is definitely one of the best all-ages graphic novel series for kids out there, with respect to the story, characters and art.
I have to admit, I don't remember very well what happened in the previous volumes and had to spend a silly amount of time reading summaries; it probably would've been faster and more enjoyable just to re-read the series.

For some reason I feel like this one was the darkest, but the longer I reflect on the previous books, nope, the whole thing is just pretty dark, man.
I find the insistence that everyone should value Navan to be incredibly annoying. They're perfectly right to treat him as suspect, he has no interest in doing anything he doesn't want to do.
The Max stuff was good, but I still find Emily to be a very unlikable character.
Overall I'm still pretty meh about the series.

Still enjoying, so I will need to order the remaining ones I think.
At some point, I need to go back and read these straight through. I always feel like I miss something when I start the new book and it takes me awhile to remember where the story left off. The story continues at a fast pace and the action continues. Looks like there will be a book #7 - yay.
